There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

STEM Week is an exciting initiative led by the TAS faculty and supported by Mathematics and Science, giving Year 7 students the chance to engage in learning beyond the classroom. All activities are created and run by teachers, with students taking part in hands-on challenges that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem solving, from coding and robotics to design and scientific investigations. The program highlights the real-world applications of STEM while encouraging teamwork, critical thinking, and exploration. STEM Week builds enthusiasm, confidence, and a love of innovation, making it a valuable highlight of the school year.

The Science Faculty celebrated National Science Week with an exciting Science Showcase, bringing together students from The Ponds High School and Riverbank Public School to share their models, experiments, and projects. The event was filled with energy and creativity, highlighting the enthusiasm and talent of our young scientists. Visitors from the school community joined in hands-on activities like the Blindfold Cup Stack Challenge, Marshmallow Tower Challenge, and Science Trivia, run by the CAIT team. Edible science was also a huge hit, with edible atoms, DNA models, fairy floss, chocolate fossils, and fairy bread delighting everyone. A big thank you and congratulations to all our students whose curiosity and hard work made the showcase such a success.

The CAPA Showcase is a special event that marks the culmination of our students’ creativity, passion, and dedication throughout the year. This celebration provides a platform for students to share their artistic talents across music, drama, dance, visual arts, and media, bringing their hard work to life for the whole school community. Your presence would mean a great deal to our performers and artists, and we warmly invite you to join us in honouring their achievements and supporting their journey.
