Updated Information

The NSW Premier announced today that Year 12 will be able to return to face-to- face lessons on Monday 16th August.

There were generalised announcements around; making the vaccine available to Year 12 students, use of antigen testing on school sites and equity between schools in hot spots to regional counterparts.

While this is excellent news, we must be a little patient as to how the Education Department processes this information and what it looks like at The Ponds High School for students and teachers. A press release for leaders is being held on 29 July at 1pm.

With this announcement we will plan for Trial examinations to begin on Monday 16 August unless informed otherwise. A slightly modified timetable will be sent out in the next 2 days.

Misadventure for practical students will be lodged at a school and regional level.

The regular misadventure process will be in place for students who are unwell for examinations.

Assessment Forms

The Ponds High School has procedures in place in which to support students when there is a genuine cause that impacts their ability to meet assessment requirements. The procedures involve the student completing and submitting the relevant form available on the Assessment and Reporting section of the school's website. These assessment forms are for use by students in all grades and courses at The Ponds High School.
